Diesel particulate filter system
The diesel particulate filters of the MPAT system work in combination with a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst or DOC. It provides a partial conversion of nitrogen monoxide to nitrogen dioxide. Nitrogen dioxide ensures that particulate matter caught in the diesel particulate filter is converted into harmless carbon dioxide and nitrogen. The advantage of this proven regeneration method is that it already takes place at a relatively low temperature. We use diesel particulate filters without a catalytic coating that have a very long service life within this context. This means that the operating costs of our systems are lower than systems with catalytically coated diesel particulate filters.

If the engine runs regularly and for longer periods at a low load, the SFB burner system ensures that the exhaust gases are regularly heated so that the diesel particulate filter stays clean. We will gladly offer advice when this is required.
