CLEANER AND GREENER THAN EVER: Meet Xeamos at METS

As we continue to journey through the whirlwind of the autumn show season, the team at Xeamos is delighted to confirm that we will once again be attending the METSTRADE show in Amsterdam from 19-21 November to showcase our latest high-tech systems and green innovations.

Thanks to its sheer scale – with 17,000+ people and 1,400+ exhibiting companies expected to attend this year – there is something for everyone at METSTRADE. At Xeamos, we are proud to support a diverse range of clients from across various marine sectors, including those in refit and new build, all of whom benefit from the flexible and tailored nature of our eco-friendly solutions.

As we all know, thanks to the pressures of climate change, future-proofing our vessels cannot wait any longer and needs to start today. Our high-tech systems purify exhaust gases and reduce emissions by using a combination of catalytic converters and particulate filters, helping to ensure both the current and next generation of vessels comply with all necessary regulations and so are fully set for the future.

At METSTRADE, you can learn about our enduringly popular diesel particle filter (DPF) solution for existing auxiliary engines which has been developed specifically for yachts and is already benefitting numerous refitted vessels. This flexible soot filter system includes an integrated bypass valve as well as an electrical heater for active regeneration.

In addition, as another benefit for refit projects, Xeamos also offers the most common diesel particle filters in stock as semi-finished products. This enables us to help provide short delivery times to enable you to keep your project firmly on track and meet those all-important deadlines – meaning that you can breathe easy!

Finally, we are also delighted to once again be showcasing our unique, all-in-one DEATS system (Dual Exhaust After Treatment System) at the show, which is fully IMO Tier III certified in combination with various engines. Perfectly designed for both refit and new build vessels, it consists of a combined silencer/catalyst housing with an integrated DPF and SCR system. Other key features of DEATS include its compact size, short installation length and its automated safety bypass valve which allows 100% engine availability.
