It’s been a busy start to the year for the Xeamos team, who have been pulled away from their engineering to engineer a presence at a host of shows and events around the world. We kicked off with the Dubai International Boat Show, which took place 19-23 February, and we followed this with a visit to the Superyacht Technology Show in Barcelona on 18-19 March before hotfooting it to Florida for the Palm Beach International Boat Show from 19-23 March, and then to Singapore for the Sea Asia 2025 event and Singapore Maritime Week at the end of March.
“It has certainly been a whirlwind start to the year, with both myself and the Xeamos team heading to these key events to meet clients, industry and partners,” says Daniël van Drunen, Sales Manager at Xeamos. “It’s such a good opportunity to meet a broad array of people, and it’s particularly pertinent now that we are out in the field, so to speak, as exhaust after-treatment is becoming an increasingly critical component of yacht and vessel design, not only for meeting stringent IMO Tier III requirements and for dramatically reducing emissions, but also for creating a much more pleasant onboard experience for owners, guests and crews.”
In April, our team embarked on a four-day trade mission to Milan, Genoa, La Spezia and Livorno in Italy, with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, Netherlands Maritime Technology, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Reinette Klever (Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Assistance). The team visited a wide range of companies involved in the construction and refit of superyachts in a region that features perhaps the largest concentration of superyacht builders and refit yards on the planet. It was an excellent opportunity to learn more about the needs and desires of this vibrant sector of the maritime market, and further understand the unique challenges that superyacht present – challenges for which our range of sustainably produced, exquisitely engineered and highly customisable emissions and exhaust after-treatment systems are perfectly designed to meet. In May, the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit 2025, organised by Superyacht Times and held in Hong Kong, was an event of interest on the Xeamos agenda.

We may have made it to a bunch of shows already, but the year is still young – and the next opportunity to meet the Xeamos team is nearly here!
